I don't mind Campbell taking risks because it is appears we suck again.  But that is not a long term solution for a team that doesn't seem to draft well, develop talent, or be able to coach players to outperform expectations.

Sewell is potentially an all-pro RT. ASB was the steal of his draft. Rodrigo looks like the steal of his. Jury is out on Jaymo but he could be the fastest player in the NFL when he arrives. Under this staff, Swift (when healthy) became the most explosive RB in the league. Okudah has come back from a torn achilles to flash potential of being a shutdown corner.

The roster was trash when they came in. They are now solid at starter at most positions, but don't have the depth to overcome injuries to a starting safety and five of their top eight players on offense.

If you thought this team was deep enough to contend this year, after winning only three times last year, that's on you, not on them.

They are right back to looking like they expect to lose. Campbell does not have this team prepared to win. They will almost assuredly go into the bye at 1-4.

Anzalone has no business being a starting LB in the NFL. Hard knocks highlighted why we should be concerned with these coaches. They love him and trust him endlessly. He was a bottom 5 LB last year in the NfL.

Anzalone has a great motor and shows relentless effort being late to the ball and then missing the tackle.    One of the best in the league at it.
