As hard as this is, this is a benefit for the franchise long term. Needed a game like this from Goff to remind everyone how awful he is. The lions will continue to be wholly irrelevant if Goff is the QB. Quote

As long as our defense is this bad, it doesn't matter how many points we score. 35 points a game and we were 1-3. Quote

Expand Eagles were 2-5 to start last year. They ended up turning it around and made the playoffs and are now talked about as Super Bowl contenders. If they get healthier I think this Lions team peaks at 5-7 wins. Quote
