the BLS shorted Biden more jobs than Trump created in his entire presidency.  Imagine coming here and arguing Trump was good on the economy LOL!  Thanks Brandon!

I would imagine that getting those numbers right is hard, but it seems crucial to get them correct the first time given the outsized importance in media coverage labor statistics get.

Conservative outlet backtracking?   I kept hearing inflation was bidens fault not a global phenomenon

I really, really want some nitwit right-winger to retweet this tweet, which shows a price of "147.9" for regular unleaded at a UK gas station, as evidence that Biden is purposely allowing gas prices in the US to rise to triple that of the UK's.

Good work by Brandon's team.

But Joe Biden said in his best demented whisper voice..."It doesn't cost anything."  So Biden lies to the the country and  says this socialist spending spree is free but in reality adds hundreds of billions to the deficit.  It doesn't sound so free to me.  Somebody has to pay for it and it will be us through higher taxes.

Of course you didn't read what you quoted.  Which is a weird flex when you're out there calling others trolls.

OK so the "Make America Great Again" by the Trumpets sounds grammatically correct. "Build Back Better" makes me cringe everytime I see it. Is that just me?

It doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, but the program looks pretty solid.

Are you talking about Trump's tax cuts that added $1 Trillion to the deficit EACH YEAR?

Or the $8 TRILLION that TRUMP added to the deficit?

Bill passed.

BOOM. (Shaka-Lakka-Lakka)

F*CK YEAH!!! Joe Manchin has a choice now as to how history will remember him, kindly or unkindly. Call Joe Manchin's DC office at 202-224-3954 and tell him that the American people support Build Back Better and the President's agenda. If you call. please be respectful to his staffers, but be stern in your support of universal pre-k, lower childcare costs, combating climate change, lowering prescription drug costs, and more.

Winner column - free pre-K, reduced prescription prices (because Medicare will be able to negotiate)

These are 2 that are notables. And needed.

I’ll think on the negatives.

In terms of negatives, there was a philosophical debate between the moderates and progressives about doing more with sunset periods or picking a couple of things and doing them for longer periods (perhaps permanently). And BBB tends to do more of the former.

I get it, but I tend to be on the "do less that can be made permanent" bandwagon versus "funding stuff for two years only to have it yanked away" train.

The negative is a another tax break for the super wealthy.  But that's what government does!  I think the positives substantially outweigh the negative in this case.

the democrats had to get their salt deduction back in there for all their california and new york donors.

its another big government spending bill that will result in those invested in the stock market making more money.  And just like every big government spending bill: those already in the system will continue to be able to live off the largesse of the american taxpayer.

The Republicans spend a ton of money too and then they cut taxes, mostly for the wealthy.  They both do the same thing.  I prefer the stuff the Democrats spend it on.
