This is getting too complicated for me...

Yeah, the top part was supposed to be the beginning of another post, but I scrapped it when I couldn't get the link to show up.  So, now it shows up whenever I start a new post.  I hate when that happens.

Good to know.

Yet, every team should always be working on improving to some extent, even the little things in any organization, aka never content IF opportunity arises and sometimes that must be created as well.

It's front office speak, but with the second sentence in particular, it should be a reminder that just because the Tigers aren't getting mentioned in headlines/signings or being brought up in rumors doesn't mean they aren't working on stuff behind the scenes.

The Soto deal is a good example of how quickly the narrative can change.

Hate to nitpick, but realistically by 2029, I would hope to see at least a couple of draft picks from post-2023 drafts contributing to the team.

So, one every seven games and most of them fell for extra base hits anyway.

Better padding on the walls? If you really wanna sell more tickets, put spikes on the walls instead of padding. Make those outfielders pay the price for robbing hitters. That'll show 'em. 🤣🤣🤣

Instead of a warning track, how about a moat with alligators in it?

We had a wooden slat fence in HS.  Like the kind they put up in parks during autumn to trap all the leaves.  It was removable so the soccer field could also exist.  One of the slats was split in two and I ran into it, I caught the ball though.  It was a foul ball so I didn't save a HR.  Sustained a serious gash on my wrist but I wouldn't get it stitched because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to participate in the postseason.  34 years later this is what's on my wrist still.

Imagine what a list from 2016 that someone made up about the 2023 Tigers would look like.

Yeah, I'm assuming that the request itself...

Asking for a projected 2029 lineup...

Was facetious.

I might be wrong on that...

but a facetious question deserves a facetious response...

IMO.
