Wings facing a long 5 on 3 kill late In the 1st. Haven’t given up a short handed goal yet this year.

Wings have strong PK and strong PP. Kubalik makes it 4-1 early in 3rd.

Rasmussen and Soderblom looked good coming in on that 2 on 1. Rasmussen with solid follow through after the initial save, getting it to Elmer for the tap-in.  5-1 late.

He didn't play Sunday, I can't seem to find any information other than he's been out with an upper body injury.  From the look of the hit my guess it is concussion but it could really be anything.  One of those career AHL goon types threw an absolutely unnecessary hit on him.

Wings hanging in against the Bruins, sort of; 2-1 Boston at the end of 2. 

Hronek is still the worst passing D man in the NHL. Zadina and Veleno are both letting another chance to be NHL players go a glimmering. Hope not to see to much of either if the rest of the Wings' forwards can get healthy. The dead ends of the Holland legacy.

didn't look that bad until the third, but the Wings definitely lost it late.

im still biased against most if the players kenny acquired in his last few years.  that includes ras, zadina, hronek, veleno, lindstrom.  they just havent developed.

yes, they are still young.  but that excuse is almost over.  you think you'd see some real growth by now if they were ever going to be anything more than solid third/fourth line players.
