buddha Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 there are always so many wings fans at kings and ducks games. Quote

My sister has been in SoCal for a long time. The neighbors are all close, they all transplants. Quote

He's not good. Ned's played better... I'm not worried. He's still a good 1B... just a slow start this year... Quote
lordstanley Posted November 16, 2022 Author Posted November 16, 2022 Strong individual effort by Rasmussen gives Wings 2-1 lead after 2. Quote
lordstanley Posted November 16, 2022 Author Posted November 16, 2022 (edited) Big 2-man kill by the Wings. Still leading by one midway through 3rd. Edited November 16, 2022 by lordstanley Quote
lordstanley Posted November 16, 2022 Author Posted November 16, 2022 Bertuzzi takes a shot to the right hand. Hmm. Seems to be ok though. Quote
gehringer_2 Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 Walman looks OK. Team looked like it slept through most of the 2nd period. Quote
gehringer_2 Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 #1 line can be really weak in their own end sometimes. Quote
lordstanley Posted November 16, 2022 Author Posted November 16, 2022 I say this almost every game but I absolutely hate the Bally screens. So, so busy. Plus the virtual ads. Makes the game almost unwatchable for me. Quote
1984Echoes Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 I still say Hronek is playing so much better this year, even with some mistakes... And that that is largely due to Maata... 1 Quote
lordstanley Posted November 16, 2022 Author Posted November 16, 2022 Crap. Ducks tie it in final minute through a screen. Quote

And that that is largely due to Maata... they've really gotten away from being aggressive to the puck carrier tonight. Look too much like last year. Hronek is an enigma to me. He is playing better in some aspect and on the PP, but he is still a terrible passer. It's really the team's single remaining gross weakness. So many possessions given up because a Wing makes a rushed or blind pass instead of having the wit/speed/finesse to find the workable outlet. Edited November 16, 2022 by gehringer_2 Quote
buddha Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 bert just gave the game away. what a horrible loss. Quote
gehringer_2 Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 well, that last grouping was a mistake. None of them could get out of their own way. Quote
buddha Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 i cant get over how stupid that was by bertuzzi. Quote
lordstanley Posted November 16, 2022 Author Posted November 16, 2022 Terrible giveaway by Bertuzzi and the Wings lose in OT. Stinky way to lose. Quote
gehringer_2 Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 a lot of sloppy stick work, half-hearted poke checking, feeble defensive stick waving by a lot of guys tonight. Quote
buddha Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 this team is finding its level. at the bottom of the division with montreal. Quote
gehringer_2 Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 (edited) I thought Walman added a little on the D, but too many Wings forwards were just lazy in their own end tonight. You don't deserve to score when you don't work to get the puck back. Edited November 16, 2022 by gehringer_2 Quote

Maybe once Bert gets back into the swing, or if they are willing to put Kubalek back with Larkin. Heck, Rassmussen, Soderblom, Sundvquist were generating better even strength pressure than any of the lines last night. Quote
