Deleterious Posted November 10, 2022 Author Posted November 10, 2022 It had to end sometime. First game of the year that Luka didn't score 30+. He had 24 and I think he missed 20 shots. It was ugly to watch. Quote
Deleterious Posted November 10, 2022 Author Posted November 10, 2022 At the very start of the clip you see Russell standing at the scorers table. He didn't realize he was supposed to be in the game. 1 Quote
RandyMarsh Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 Pistons is the top row 2nd from the end on the right. Im glad it's something other than another boring black or gray jersey but what's the story behind the green? I saw somebody in the comments on the tweet say it was for Vernors but that doesnt really look like Vernors colors to me. Quote
buddha Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 my dad was the cfo for vernors for like 20 years. we used to watch the thanksgiving day parade from the office building, the one with the gnome out front on the sign. Quote
Deleterious Posted November 10, 2022 Author Posted November 10, 2022 Shame your dad wasn't the CFO of Victoria's Secret. Quote

I kind of hope Philly gets into a bench clearing brawl whilst wearing those jerseys. How many damn jerseys are needed? George Blaha mentioned at the beginning of last night's game that it looked odd for Detroit to be wearing the traditional road blue jersey as the road team and for Boston to be wearing the traditional home white jersey as the home team. RandyMarsh Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 https://www.nba.com/news/detroit-pistons-city-edition Looked it up and it's not for Vernors(don't know where that tweeter got that from) but to honor Saint Cecilia Gym in Detroit where the who's who of Detroit players supposedly played growing up. RandyMarsh Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 Reminds me of the Aguirre era Mav's jerseys. In a vaccuum I love the look but just not sure how I feel about them being Pistons jerseys. Still better than another black alternate though. 1 Quote
