Hegseth attacking the reporter was too rich. Like, did you expect any reporter not to report that you were -- in terms of national security violations -- choking out a child on the 50 yard line of the SuperBowl? Quote

Motown Bombers Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Since they were using Signal, it was just a matter of time before they included their mistresses on these chats. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Emailed my rep John James and asked if he was on the Signal chat, and if so, can he add me since I need to talk to my rep and he's nowhere to be found. 2 Quote

And they were happy to mix security requirements with their forever campaign. They, and this particularly includes Rubio know about the limitations on security of phones in light of recent PRC hacking into our telcos and Israeli-invented hacks on certain phone providers that were sold off to various nogoodniks. Tulsi G probably doesn't know because she is completely overmatched for that job because she's a Russian stooge. My prediction is that the National Security Advisor gets a job in a different part of the administration or is fired and that's the end of this. Also, Jeff Goldberg is going to be made the villain by the RW media machine. Quote
romad1 Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Interesting thought. I think Goldberg cares more for the institutions than the administration. Quote

romad1 Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago This is true Gravel Influencer: "The Signal story is really the perfect example of how Trump's litany of abuses have completely warped media coverage and the standard he is held to. It's being covered, but on the Trump curve, it's just another scandal, as opposed to a major national security threat that should lead to resignations." — Bluesky Quote

Tigerbomb13 Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago It’s just so frustrating and predictable that this is something should immediately trigger resignations, but because it’s just another day of flooding the zone, it will be forgotten by tomorrow. 1 Quote

oblong Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago In my job we deal with secrecy, both in terms of a proprietary nature and things that are not yet public knowledge and some things go beyond the standard internal understanding that you don't blab. We are a publicly traded company. SEC, etc. Meaning.... if we talk about subject A, we have to make sure the people in our audience are either NDA'd or asked to leave. When we have meetings we validate who is on the call. The meeting organizer is responsible ultimately but we all also do it. Nobody wants to talk to our lawyers. I've been involved in things I couldn't even discuss with my direct reports two levels up. I'm not saying that to brag or that I'm special... I'm not. I'm a non mangement grunt. But I go through these exercises and it's unbelievable that people at that level in our government are not doing, at minimum, the same thing. The invite was careless. I don't know anything about Signal but I assume you can see who else is on the chat. Everybody on that should have wondered who "JG" was. 1 Quote

"He's a radical leftist" "Get me the 31st most competent negotiator as long as he is loyal and makes me look good " It's even worse than that: they are completely conflating loyalty with competence, 100%. We should probably remember, though, that the goal of who benefits most in a trade agreement negotiation is almost certainly far different for MAGA than for Democrats. Quote

I've stopped short of believing this was a setup to entrap the MSM, but I am totally believing that the regime will use this incident to openly clamp down hard on all MSM. Quote

They don't want to have to reveal any of this to the national archives. They are criming. 1 1 Quote
