Exactly this. MAGA will repeat over and over that no harm was done here, the operation was successful, lessons learnt, end of story.

Dems will try to bang the drum that something bad COULD have happened, while ignoring the real crime. 

Dems need to put themselves in GOP shoes and think how they would respond to this kind of thing if the tables were turned. But they won't. The'll end up playing defense like usual.

Noted something interesting that Susan Rice said just now.  The acting JCS chairman was not on the Signal chain.   Why?  Because he would presumably be a professional and beholden to existing security institutions.  This is why we have professionals.  This is why these oligarchic criminals hate professionals.   The goobers are thinking this is a non-story because they don't understand the importance of professions and standards of conduct. 

Fire the IGs, fire the professionals, everyone is building a barn and putting on a show!

Trump’s response of “I know nothing about it”, is beyond comprehension.

It is, in plain English, ****ing scary.  He is out of the loop, and the inmates are running the asylum.  They are all totally inept, all of them playing a game that has opened all of us to danger from the many nations out there that will cheer our demise and work towards it.
