The only issue I saw was frozen potatoes. I went on Thursday afternoon and the shelves were bare. So I had to peel and cut. Also heard of cream cheese shortages.

I had cheesy potatoes at both my mom's house Saturday and my cousin's house yesterday. They both bought the pre-diced potatoes. They must have been one of the lucky ones.

I had to shred my own lettuce for taco night last night.  Oh the humanity!

I realize now that bragging about my dinner last night might have come across as trolling.  I'm sorry to anyone thus offended.

Observation

Media seems very quick to criticize restaurants eg. for being open and gathering people. Hell, I am.

But when their access gets revoked in the name of safety protocols they cry bloody murder.

way back in the dark ages, Government recognized that with nothing but a profit motive, mass media could easily  degenerate into a socially destructive force, so they required media to act in the public interest as part of the licensing process. It wasn't a perfect solution, but the fact that the Gov always held the hammer of being able to revoke a license still had a powerful effect - to the point that media companies didn't even operate their news divisions as profit centers. If conservatives are so hot to get back to 1950's values, that was one of them.

That used to be universally reviled in this forum.   I'm beginning to see why it existed now.

Cable news sucks in general. It's too opinion and personality driven.
