This is right, and it manifested itself in a number of realms - both political and on COVID. It really got, and continues to be, old to have NYC resident Nate Silver pontificating to many of his readers who don't live on the coasts about what "Real Americans" think. Or hearing him talk about COVID experience from his POV when it didn't necessarily match the experience of everyone in the country. The nuts and bolts of what he has done on data is extremely valuable and I don't hold him in as low of regard as I do as The Cook Political Report set (ie. Wasserman, Walter), but the site has been a lower priority than in the past because of that and just the tendency of the journalism there to be a bit repetitive. Quote

The Ronz Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 You and Lee could be right. I honestly don't remember exactly what it was, but it seemed to be more than just Qslvr or something like that. Quote

Jim Cowan Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 Garth McKinney, wow. 1 for 4 at West Michigan with a double, a walk, a stolen base, and 2 strikeouts. I wonder where he is working now. Quote

ben9753 Posted May 2, 2023 Posted May 2, 2023 Yay get ready for the great whitewashing. CNN is being used by Trump and they’re either too stupid to see it or too craven to care. Not sure which is worse. Quote
