RandyMarsh Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 Big game as 3rd or possibly even 2nd place depending on what the pack do is on the line in this one. Box score scouting only it appears that Fields may have had his best game of his career yesterday mainly due to his feet of course since his average pass attempt only yielded 6.5 yards. Despite his passing struggles if he is running well he could pose a problem for us. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 The Lions are only 2 games out of the playoff with 9 games to play. Quote
Tigeraholic1 Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 If the Lions knowing how bad they have been burnt by mobile QB's do NOT have a QB spy I am going to lose it...... Quote

Are we sure fields knows how to read anything? Defenses? A Book? Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 This is a prove it game for me for Dan Campbell and the growth of this team. If they go out and lose to a Bears team that sold off pieces at the deadline then I think all the shine of the past week or so will have worn off. After losing, the calls by fans to turn up the heat on Campbell will be out in full force. The other thing a loss would do is kill the narrative that the first half of the season they just happened to face a tough schedule. You can't lose to a cupcake team like the Bears if you want to prove to fans you're any good and that you're improving as a team. Quote

Hongbit Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 (edited) It’s insane to think but absolutely true that the Lions are in the playoff race if they win today. They won’t though. Dark Goff will show up again and suck the life out of the offense. Multiple dumb turnovers expected. Lions defense will bend and not break but this one is ugly by losing handily to a shit franchise with a QB that we passed on (rightfully so btw). Bears 31 Lions 13 Edited November 13, 2022 by Hongbit Quote

MichiganCardinal Posted November 13, 2022 Author Posted November 13, 2022 I don't think the Bears are very good. I also don't think the Lions are very good. I think this game should be somewhat telling regarding whether the Lions are just really bad, or whether the "they've just played really good teams" card has some merit. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 How many yards running for Fields today, 120 ? Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 Aidan Hutchinson will run more this game than he ever has in a game. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 No reason to throw the ball so far Quote
buddha Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 can someone on this defense make a simple tackle? Quote
Sports_Freak Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 Such smart strategy. Here, you take the ball, we don't want it. Our worst ranked defense will give up a 5 minute TD drive. But don't worry, we get it first in the 2nd half. We'll be down 35-0, but we get the ball. If we had a solid defense, it might be a good strategy. But with our defense? Loss.... Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 Wow, the Bears gave up on a TD there. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 If I was a Bears fan, I'd be livid with that 3rd down play call. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 Horrible defense...horrible coaching....there's no hope, ever. Quote

buddha Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 fyi, this is one of the worst defenses in football so they should be able to score. usual lions caveats apply. Quote
