smr-nj Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Since McCarthy has already sold his soul, and a host of other concessions to the loony fringe, what’s he got left to barter with? Hey, why don’t some GOP sane members just go ahead and vote for Jeffries? Really…. What do they have to lose here? Quote

There would have to be some negotiating... Would be very interested in those results... Quote

It went from 19 to 20 against in the 3rd vote. If the Fascist Caucus is smart, they would have preplanned this. The next vote goes to 23 against, then 24, then 25... So it looks like McCarthy is losing ground. They can only go up to 31 I think, and that's if Jordan and MTG cut bait and switch over to the Jordan vote... But... we'll see in the next few days what their actual plan is... Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Grab the popcorn and sit back and enjoy while they eat each other. They had since before the election to have a plan on what to do, but nope. The inmates are running the asylum. Nothing was going to get done in Congress the next two years anyway, but this, this is hysterical. Quote
