Motown Bombers Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 (edited) When's the last time the Lions beat a team so bad that the opposing team waved the white flag and brought in the backup QB? Edited December 4, 2022 by Motown Bombers 2 Quote
NYLion Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 The Lions are a.... wait for it.... good team? Quote

MichiganCardinal Posted December 4, 2022 Author Posted December 4, 2022 This felt much like Arizona last year… except there was never really a doubt that we would win. Overheard: “is this what New England fans felt like for so long?” Quote

I’m not ready to say good, but definitely not bad and that has them separated from the bad teams. It’s also why losing last week hurts so bad, especially considering a bad team like Jacksonville actually won their game against a better team. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted December 4, 2022 Author Posted December 4, 2022 Jerome Boger casually giving the Lions a 20 second runoff because he can’t do math. Quote
sagnam Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 Was the clock running? It didn’t start on the whistle. Why would there be a runoff in a stopped clock scenario? Quote
Tenacious D Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 Is 3-2 realistic the rest of the way? Quote

MichiganCardinal Posted December 4, 2022 Author Posted December 4, 2022 Can we stop giving Campbell ultimatums now or will the rest of the games be must-wins too? Quote
Motown Bombers Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 Just now, Tenacious D said: Is 3-2 realistic the rest of the way? Yes. They can beat Carolina, Chicago and the Jets. 4-1 is attainable too with getting a win against Minnesota at home or Green Bay. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 Just now, MichiganCardinal said: Can we stop giving Campbell ultimatums now or will the rest of the games be must-wins too? Now the wins are meaningless and won't someone please think of the draft picks. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 As much as I want to see the Giants lose, we need them to win here. Quote

Nah, they are still in the hunt. They have put themselves in the position where the rest of the games are must-win by starting so poorly, and also by playing so well over the last five. Let's hold them to a higher standard than we're used to. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 This may say more about the NFC than the LIons but there aren't 7 teams better in this conference than them. Quote

Tenacious D Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 It’s been said before, but I love having a shitty, beat-up Rams #1 pick so I can enjoy each Lions win and care less about our own pick potentially falling outside of the top-15. Quote

holygoat Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 I had them at 6-11 before the season started, and it looked like that wouldn't happen after the first 8 games. Now, I'd be disappointed with that. Quote
