I forgot the Panthers are only one game out of the division lead held by Tampa. Although "chase" may be a strong word for what is going on in the NFC North.

If the Lions can get by the Panthers, it sets up a New Year's Eve of watching Michigan-Tulane followed by a New Year's Day of an 8-7 Lions team hosting the Bears.

Game threads are like “Who’s Line is it Anyway” for four quarters of football. The rules are made up and the points don’t matter.

I don’t hold anyone to their knee-jerk reactions for blood to be spilled. Pulling receipts from 1-6 sure is fun after going 6-1 across 7 though.

Ignore the "dynasty" talk in the title. But interesting thoughts at the 9:30 mark comparing how the Stafford for Goff + picks trade could end up working out like the Grant Hill for Ben Wallace trade.

I call out a player or coach for mistakes made. Justified. Usually after the fact with the coach, be even he admits making mistakes. Taking the heat for his players who didn't execute?
