Oh yeah thats been there forever.  Its at the end of Hammerberg road where it T-junctions with 12th.  Easiest way is to just take 69 to the Hammerberg exit and 12th street is right off the exit.  At the intersection it will be directly across from Hammerberg Road.

No rules to it, people just paint over it whenever they want.  Usually its used to memorialize someone.  I guess it is some sort of pump house.

Ok.... that's what i thought.  When I go to MSD, I get off that very exit but turn left instead of right.  But I've seen that painted when I look that way to check for traffic.  It's been a few weeks since I've been there.

I'll have to show this to my son when he gets home to see if he's noticed it.

Did I hear correctly?  They are renovating the dorms at MSD?

That deal seems to have worked out well for everyone.  MSD got a beautiful new building and Powers was able to move their campus to a better part of the city.  Fay Hall was renovated.  Still one of my favorite buildings in the city.

I do not know if they are renovating them.  My son doesn't live there.  Commutes every day. We thought that would be a challenge but he loves riding in cars.  It's his favorite place to be.  I'm used to the 5 am wake up calls.  I go up every so often to either pick him up for a Doc appointment or see the staff there for meetings.   The Powers building is so beautiful.

We typically stop at Redwood on the way back for a dinner date if the time fits.  I like that place.

I guess not.  She doesn't do anything with billing codes.  But her boss brought these up in a staff meeting.  I guess they were going for hyper accurate tracking and it created a bunch of goofy codes.  She listed off a few more.

Reminds me of when systems ask for "occupation" and the list is both non inclusive enough and extremely outdated or detailed.  Just last week I came across one that didn't have anything for me or my wife, she's an Occupational Therapist.  but it had things like "Cigarette Distributor"  "Liquor Store owner" "Casino Owner" "Beauty Salon Owner".

I just received the email from YouTube TV raising the price another $10 a month. It's now up to $82.99 a month for the base package and that does not include FanDuel or whatever the local sports thing is that's another $20 for that app. 

I think it's probably time to look at bundling our TV with our internet provider and going back to cable.  Xfinity at least carries FanDuel.

Thinking the same.  I love the product but yearly 13% increases are ridiculous.  It’s been years since I’ve compared with cable so I have no idea how this prices now.

Spouse and I was just discussing that. I can probably get most of what we use it for from Cox. Maybe after the NFL season.

Yeah, that whole $35/month thing they came out with was always intended to be hit of the dope.

We've never left DirecTV. We pay a lot more money than cobbling together multiple streaming services, but we can afford it, and it sure is darn convenient.

They want you to get used to the worsening because that means you'll give up on wanting better, you'll be easier to manage, and they can pocket the money they might normally invest in the product to make things better for you. It's a core capitalist value.

If you ever looked at the full moon and wondered where we went.  All the sites are on the near side as it was way too risky to land on the far side due to communication blackouts. No way would they allow that, although the only geologist to walk on the moon, Jack Schmitt secretly lobbied for it.  (There is no such thing as a dark side of the moon despite what Pink Floyd said)

Apollo 11’s site was picked for easy access  get there, get down, pick up some rocks and dust, and get the hell home before someone dies. Apollo 12’s goal was to prove a precision landing was possible.  Pete Conrad landed within a few hundred feet of a crashed surveyor probe sent up a few years earlier.  15-17 sites were specifically picked for what the geologists and scientists wanted to retrieve to learn from the moons history.

Same artist put up a new mural and then someone started to paint over it.  Someone said its now a memorial to someone that murdered.

Some are upset they painted over the holiday mural.  But artists know this is what happens, its expected.
