Sports_Freak Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Campbell kept saying we were so close at the beginning of the season. He was right. Quote

Motor City Sonics Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Oh and to all you analysts that picked Green Bay (except Tony Dungy)......... Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Wow, Jamaal is really emotional. A Lions season hasn't ended on a high like this in my lifetime. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 They were 5-1 in the division. This team is going to be a bitch to play going forward in the NFC North. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 I Love Jamaal Williams......................Bring him back. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Such a drag that Seattle had to win today. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 When is the last time we swept the Packers? Quote
buddha Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 and the vikings luck into playing the fucking giants in the playoffs. lucky ass team. the lions would have beaten them. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Wow, for a team not making the playoffs, they are FIRED up. Again, if making the playoffs is a 10 Denying Green Bay in their house is a 9.7. Beautiful. Talk about THAT TEAM some more, Aaron. Talk about THAT team with Pat McAfee tomorrow after your yogurt enema. Quote
lordstanley Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 9-8, with only three losses all year by more than 4 points. Quote
lordstanley Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Just now, buddha said: and the vikings luck into playing the fucking giants in the playoffs. lucky ass team. the lions would have beaten them. The only result I was happy about earlier today was SF winning. If they had lost and Minnesota taken the #2 seed, the Lions missing a playoff date with the Vikings would have been too hard to take. gehringer_2 Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Hellofva call to go with a pass into potential traffic. I figured the obvious call was the option run earlier where Goff handed it off, but would have been wide open if he had kept it. I guess Campbell decided GB would have thought the same thing. 😉 Quote

NYLion Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 (edited) Maybe I'm crazy but I feel like this Lions team could have made a Superbowl run. Perhaps too ambitious and we'll never know but they have a team built for playoff football and a ton of belief. Too bad that Mayfield has a noodle arm and that the refs decided to call a couple of phantom calls against the Rams. Edited January 9, 2023 by NYLion Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Jamaal Williams is fucking legit! Love this guy. Watch his post game interview, it's gold. Fox 2 tonight. Quote

I may be misremembering but I vaguely remembering their being conditions to the Hockenson trade like if Minnesota wins a playoff game we receive a better pick from them? If that is accurate this could be a good thing for us having them play the Giants. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Can you imagine if The Detroit Lions went on a dynasty run? Like the Patriots success? Win about 4 championships the next 6 years or so? Would winning get boring? 😆😆 Quote

oblong Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Just popping in to say that was fun. I’m happy for all my lions fans friends. You waited a long time to feel this good about your team. I’m not anti lions. I just don’t really care that much and I don’t want to be a bandwagon jumper. Quote
