lordstanley Posted January 27, 2023 Author Posted January 27, 2023 Fabbri scores in OT. Are we sure it wasn't offside? Quote

gehringer_2 Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 Rasmussen - almost the goat for late high stick, pairs with Seider to create a cookie for Fabbri. Too bad they don't play that way more during regulation! Quote

Too bad they don't play that way more during regulation! I think it was also Rasmussen who had the shot blocked leading to the weird 2 on 0 right before the Wings winner. Dach and the other came in on Husso practically in single file with Dach looking behind him for the other guy Quote

gehringer_2 Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 so one goal against on a turnover by Suter, the last goal probably doesn't happen if Veleno plays his man better. The weak links continue to be weak. Quote

He was never what you would call graceful but his skating looks especially labored right now. If he could stay on the ice maybe his legs would come back, or maybe he's just getting old young. Ya you nailed it, he looks reallllllly stiff and always seems a few steps too late to where he needs to be. 1 Quote
slothfacekilla Posted January 28, 2023 Posted January 28, 2023 Despite a lot of power play time for both teams, so far this Isles game is a snoozer (which they must be loving) Quote

1984Echoes Posted January 28, 2023 Posted January 28, 2023 They should be losing 4 or 5 to 0... They've looked bad all night long... Quote

But this was a little bit of a 'take it' game for the Islanders all the way around with Husso sitting and Lalonde also letting Erne and Lindstrom get a game in before the break. Quote
buddha Posted January 28, 2023 Posted January 28, 2023 losing this game without scoring a goal is the most predictable outcome ever. Quote
lordstanley Posted January 28, 2023 Author Posted January 28, 2023 Wings got blanked 2-0 last night. I believe the Islanders had lost 7 straight before that. Season over. Quote
