buddha Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 the bears have the most salary cap space and the most positions to fill. it will be fun to bet their under win total after they sign a bunch of free agents and idiot bears fans all bet the over at like 9. Quote

RandyMarsh Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 Probably gonna have to zoom in to read it but you will see that Sutton is in the top let quadrant with only a handful of players being ranked higher including Sauce who basically was in his own league. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted March 13, 2023 Author Posted March 13, 2023 (edited) Love the Cam Sutton deal. Good player, good value, will start for us next year at corner and is probably, instantly, the best corner on the roster. Glad to see we made a move like this! Motown Bombers Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 Sign Tremaine Edmonds and re-sign some of the current free agents and call it good. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted March 13, 2023 Author Posted March 13, 2023 PFF graded out Cam Sutton as the 24th best corner in league last year. https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-final-2022-cornerback-rankings Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 Big fan of Sutton. Good price. Great player. I think this opens up your options in the draft quite a bit. If you're happy with Sutton as your outside CB1 and Okudah as your outside CB2, then you really just need a healthy Tracy Walker at Strong Safety and a 2nd or 3rd round nickel corner (Antonio Johnson, Quan Martin, and Cam Mitchell all fit the bill) and your secondary is head and shoulders above where they were last season. 2 Quote
NYLion Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 Big fan of this signing because I like the player and because now they don't have to feel the need to take corner at 6. I'm pleasantly surprised that Holmes splurged today. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 Heyward hyping up Sutton and talking about him being a lockerroom leader, yep definitely a Holmes and MCDC guy! Quote

Motown Bombers Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 Steelers fans aren't too happy Sutton got away and they know what good teams and players look like. Quote

I wonder if this takes them out of the market for a QB at 7, might hurt potential trade down options. I doubt it. It's a 3 year deal and probably more like a 1-2 year deal I bet. Garappolo to the Raiders made sense to reunite with McDaniels. Quote

Motown Bombers Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 I must be living in crazy times if it's reasonable for the Lions to consider a QB at 6 and the Raiders are out after signing a worse, older and injury prone QB to a short deal. Quote
