Biff Mayhem
FTR I am not a huge fan of all things space related but sometimes I am entertained by being able to see the ISS flying over, eclipses and blood moons. Apparently this will be a once-in-50,000 year event:
oblong
I get an email every time the ISS flies over my area.
Screwball
Call me lazy, but I've been busy today. I'm sure there will be more news about this, but the short question is; when and where?

casimir
There is another total eclipse in April of 2024. If my house isn’t in the path of total eclipse, it’s damn near close to it. I’m taking the day off to stay home and enjoy the shenanigans.

1984Echoes
I'm waiting for the first discovery of Earth 2.0. With the clincher being an atmosphere with water vapor. They haven't yet found (a) a rocky planet, (b) that's in the habitable zone, (c) with a circular or barely elliptical orbit (some discoveries are with huge elliptical orbits), (d) with an orbit that is not 28 days or less (some are orbiting their sun every two days!!!), and lastly and most critically (e) with a water vapor atmosphere... This is not it yet, but James Webb exoplanet discovery: https://www.nbcnews.com/science/space/james-webb-telescope-finds-first-exoplanet-rcna65374

So the explosion was 140,000,006 years ago.
oblong
Because of a small computer error in 1969, Apollo 12's third stage comes back to earth orbit every 30 years.
