Honestly, if you want to see the Tigers take a run at Trevor Story, that may be best case scenario. But man, Semien and Seager both set the bar really high for SS signings.

That's why it was silly when people kept proposing like 5 year 125 million deals for some of these guys.

I forgot about Chris Taylor. I suppose he wouldn't be the worst consolation prize in the world. Decent enough bat, versatile enough to play all over the field if we do indeed want to try Kriedler at SS plus with the money saved we could potentially allocate that money elsewhere.

They are playing for about 2-3 years down the road.... a lot of youngsters will hit the circuit in the next couple of years.

It's not the most conventional way to build a team, but best of luck to them.

Probably. Care to venture a guess who will ? Yankees ? I have been wrong on almost all of it.

Yankees may be the best bet but not until a new CBA is in hand. Seattle looks like they're making a move. Angels are always a wild card. Mets are establishing themselves as that kind of wild card.

I wouldn't rule out the Astros, either.

I could see the Dodgers going his direction as well

The sports talk radio here is all crying about losing Seager and still hating on Correa for 2017 World Series. They would probably quiet down if he signs with the Dodgers though. I really thought they LOVED Seager.

True. This Yankee ownership is more measured than they were back in the George S days.

LOL - it better not be much more than that because the odds that you get lucky with 2 middle IF both playing well into their 30s is not good.

Trust me, I think it's idiotic.... even more idiotic than Al's skeleton rebuild. But the locals will eat it up anyway.
