Prefer this plan over the Correa plan.

I don't think we need an OF'er just yet though. I'd rather save that for the trade deadline to see whether it's worth it or not to chase another bat. And I'd rather give internal options enough run to start the season to see whether they sink or swim.

I'm good with another starter and reliever though. Always liked McHugh. And I think Grienke would be as valuable off the field as on. IMO.

This is solid advice. We need to find 2 arms, a SP and a LH reliever. Maybe both guys are already in camp. I kind of doubt that. As for the OF'er , come the trade dealine there might be better options.

He's in the best shape in years......................And I hear Bonderman's change up is fantastic this Spring.   And man, Mike Laga was hitting some rockets in batting practice.

Did you hear the news about the guys that got stuck out on an ice flow in Lake Erie and had to be rescued at tax payers' expense?

I just saw a story about a senior class that got stranded at the airport because their travel agent gave them phony vouchers for Spring Break and ran off with their money.

Also, that Bridal shop in (insert city here) suddenly closed and several brides who made expensive deposits won't have their dresses in time for their wedding.

And my friend Scott is bitching about how tired he is and how stupid Daylight Savings time is (TAKE A NAP, DAMMIT).

SPRING IS HERE, BABY !

(What, you usin' my 'babies' now?)

Wow. Mike Laga. Thanks for the blast of nostalgia.

I thought Laga, Wilson and Johnson were going to be great and they were going to complete the dream line-up.  Johnson was pretty great for a while, but it was with the Mets.

rearranging deck chairs?

It looks like a salary dump for the Twins. Yanks are picking up $50mil of Donaldson's contract per Heyman

Still, seems like a trade perfectly designed for both fanbases to hate

Bizarre...

That is an old school trade - two major leaguers for two major leaguers.  There used to be a lot of trades like that.  Now, it's all veterans whose contracts are running out for prospects.

That being said, it probably won't amount to much.

Yankees could get lucky and get  2 more good years out of Donaldson, in which this trade will be good for them, but more likely Donaldson's bat will fall off the table sooner than that.
