Or possibly after 2 years, Baez goes to 2nd and Kriedler/ Workman / Colt Keith end up at short.  Would have preferred Story but still excited for the upgrade in the 2022 Tigers defense.  From what I saw of Torkelson and Greene at Toledo, after whatever adjustment period to MLB we should have an exciting team next year for however many games are played...  Still hoping for another starter...lol

If the Tigers couldn't get Correa or Seager, Baez would have been my next choice before Semien or Story so I'm happy.  It should give Kreidler another years work in AAA and hopefully he will be ready for MLB.  He might be Schoops replacement at 2B???

I saw the Wiggles three times...twice at the Fox and once at the Palace.  The Palace show wasn't as intimate or fun.  

I was surprisingly entertained...as much by the band as I was by my daughter who went completely nanners.

Gotta say again here for posterity...pretty happy overall with this and glad they did not give Correa 350 mil.  As most have said would have preferred 6 years to 7, but 7 is a hell of a lot better than 10.

Go get a starter and lets get ready for 2022.

I've heard that they were really funny live show with Captain Feathersword.   That he was a guy who could have had any career in comedy he chose but ended up doing this.

We were probably at the same shows.... the first was around 2002.  We had really good seats the Palace so it was intimate for us.  They came into the crowd.  I remember the purple guy being right next to us.

Also saw Yo Gabba Gabba at the Fox and the place went nuts, from the parents, when Biz Markie (RIP) came on stage.

I thought my son was going to hyperventilate when he realized that when we told him we were going to see Yo Gabba Gabba that we meant we're going to see them.... not just on a screen.

I had some work colleagues at the time from Australia and they told me the Wiggles were at one time a legit band so that's why the tunes were so catchy.  They werent like the Monkees.

You won't be frustrated by Javy's baserunning. You've never seen a guy slide into a bag and evade a tag like Javier Baez, except when you have seen Twitter video of Baez himself making such slides. Now you will get to see them every day, and sometimes live at the ballpark.

You won't be frustrated by Javy's hot streaks which, when he has them—and he will have them—makes him as good a hitter as anyone in the major leagues. How would you like a shortstop with plus-D capable of hitting .339/.372/.629 while jacking 16 bombs and swiping a dozen bags? Javier Baez has been that kind of hitter: he did it in 2018 over a stretch of seventy-three games. What? Too long ago to matter anymore? OK, how about .297/.361/.523 with 15 bombs and nine bags? Will that do? Because that's how he hit in the final 73 games of this season.

But most of all, you won't be frustrated by the pure joy Javy radiates by just being on the field flashing the incredible skills he has in the service of helping the Detroit Tigers—that team we all grew up loving through thick and thin and thin and thin—win ballgames. Javy is going to put at least one involuntary broad smile on your face just about every game he plays for the Tigers, starting this year.

Or how about this year when he evaded the Pirates 1B on a routine grounder to help score a run and ended up on 2B?  Freaking awesome play!!!
